Garlic Soup Recipe



Ingredients:
*50 garlic cloves or 5 bulbs, peeled
*2 tbsp olive oil
*2 tbsp butter
*2 large onions, diced
*6 cups clear chicken broth
*1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
*A bunch of fresh herbs (parsley, thyme, bay leaf) you may also use *dried herbs instead of fresh
*3 cups stale bread, diced
*1 cup sour cream

Preparation:

1. Prepare your oven by preheating it for 180 degrees. Cut the garlic bulb or cut the cloves in half, then spread it over a piece of aluminum foil. Drizzle it with olive oil then roast it for hour and a half in the oven.

2. When your garlic is ready, take it out of the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.

3. In a pot, put 2 tbsp of olive oil and butter, when the oil is ready add the onions and cook for 10 minutes.

4. When your garlic is roasted, mash it using a fork and then add it into the pot and add the herbs and chicken broth.

5. Lower the fire and add the bread, cook it for 5 minutes or until you saw that the bread cube softens.

6. Put the soup in a blender and blend well until smooth.

7. Put the blended soup into the heat again, then add in the sour cream. You can add salt and pepper to taste.

In case you notice initial symptoms that indicate a certain ailment, immediately prepare this soup. It may take a little while to be prepared, but you can always freeze whatever is left and use it some other time too.
