Make An Affordable, Non-Greasy And Non-Sticky Lotion At Home

Your skin, especially your face, goes through a lot of abuse through out the day. Plus, as we start to age, our skin tends to become drier. Moisturizing your face should be an essential part of your daily routine.

Even if your skin type tends to be normal to oily, using a high-quality moisturizer on a regular basis can be the key to improving the way your skin looks and feels.

It is important to keep the skin moisturized because our skin is a barrier against infection. If we allow the skin to become dry, it can become cracked. When cracks or breaks in the skin occur, the usual bacteria that live on our skin can get inside and cause an infection.

So what does a moisturizer do for your skin?

Repair– moisturizers hydrate and provide a bit of nourishment back in your skin by applying it every day.

Protect- Moisturizers also help to protect your skin from sun damage.

Circulate– applying moisturizer stimulates the skin improving the circulation of blood to the body helping to boost collagen levels.

For those with sensitive skin using heavier lotions and moisturizers in hot weather can cause clogged pores and breakouts. So, we found out that there's a way you could create your very own non-greasy lotion at the comfort of your home.
