Eating Hot And Spicy Foods May Increases Your Lifespan By 5 Years

Are you one of those people who condemned eating spicy foods? Well, think twice again before hating those "hot" delicacies.

One recent study shows that consuming peppers or other spicy foods will make your live more longer.

According to Chinese researchers, eating spicy peppers once or twice a week can reduce the risk of death by about 10%. Meanwhile, choosing to eat foods high in spices six or seven times a week reduces the risk of death by 14%

A particular and main ingredients in spicy food is capsaicin, which may have a direct effect on extending the lifespan of adults.

It is important to note that fresh chilis, rather than chili powder or chili sauce, has the better impact. This is because the capsaicin is typically cooked out for those edible concoctions.

They author of the report also noted that incorporating spicy food in your diet will enable you to live longer, it could also help you reduce the risks of acquiring serious health conditions such as cancer, ischematic heartdisease and diabetes among other things.

Although the study is not fully confirmed by experts and patients, there is sufficient evidence that suggests a compound in chilli peppers, capsaicin to be exact, that contributes to the health benefits indicated above.

People who eat spicy foods on a regular basis can simply enjoy this benefit with no change. For those who wish to benefit but are not used to pungent foods, it may pay to work up to eating them every day.

Be cautious when introducing spicy foods to your diet. Your digestive system may not be prepared for the spices and may take time to adjust to dealing with them.
